Kim Brattain

Kim is a veteran television journalist and anchorwoman, having worked in small and large markets. She’s won numerous awards, including 3 regional Emmys and several Associated Press awards for journalism. Her most recent documentaries both won critical acclaim, and became a finalist in multiple nationwide film festivals.

Rick Fitts - Executive Producer

Rick brought his extensive knowledge to Kim Brattain Media in 2015, after managing the WTVI production team under various titles for years.  His projects have won national recognition: 13 Telly Awards, 3 Silver Telly Awards and the Communicator’s Gold Award, and received an Emmy nomination for his work with Steve Crump on the documentary “Bearden at 100".  His projects range from broadcast television to documentary.
As owner of Fitts Production Associates Rick’s credits include producing and directing special event entertainment and corporate award shows internationally, working in Australia, China and South Korea. Corporate film projects include production work in Germany and France.

Chelsea Bailey Engle - Producer and Editor

With a background in video production, live production, and marketing, Chelsea brings a diverse skill set to Kim Brattain Media. Chelsea is also in charge of keeping you up to date on all happenings through social media. She has a great love of storytelling, which drew her to the KBM team. Chelsea also taught herself how to create and manage websites, another skill she uses for our clients, and KBM too!

Dan Klutz - Director of Photography

As a professional image maker for over 12 years, Dan strives to capture each moment in an interesting and engaging light.  Dan’s spark of creativity lies not only in the creation of beautiful imagery- that spark also is present in a technical manner.  Dan has the technical side of the team covered as a go-to whiz for any technology related issue.

Stephanie Wiseman - Videographer and Editor

Stephanie Wiseman was born and raised in Maryland, attended Film School in Towson, MD, and worked along side a production company in Annapolis for many years. After moving to Charlotte, NC, she built her own photography business, bringing her artist eye to every project.

Renee Giordano

Renee is a writer and producer for Kim Brattain Media. Winner of two regional Emmy Awards, she spent two decades in the television news business as a newscast & promotions producer, TV-news content & marketing consultant and most recently as Executive Producer managing a newsroom at WSOC-TV. Renee focuses on connecting with clients and helping them tell their best stories.

Andrew Paustian - Audio Engineer

Andrew has a masters in Energy Engineering and brings his skill to getting perfect voice recordings for Kim Brattain Media.   Andrew believes a great video is the sum of it’s parts: great story, beautiful pictures, couple with crisp, clear interviews and narration.
